There's a possibility that we might not be able to go to Cardiff after all. We really want to go, but the flooding and torrential rain along the route might make it an impossibility for us to get there. My husband has just checked the travel news, and the route between Birmingham and Cardiff doesn't look good.

Keep your fingers crossed for us. I'll be gutted if we can't go! :(

Traveling, even for something fun, in terrible weather is always unnerving. Maybe especially for something fun. You no doubt made a wise choice in staying put (linked over here from your LJ --- very pretty layout here).

I know I made the right decision (there was no way I could risk taking my daughter into that!), but it was still disappointing to have to stay at home. *sigh*
